3790296 - Manage Workforce Analytics' permission missing under Manage Permission Roles > Manage Dashboards / Reports in SuccessFactors

Symptom

• The Manage Workforce Analytics permission is missing under Manage Permission Roles > Manage Dashboards / Reports.

• The checkbox to enable Manage Workforce Analytics is not displayed.

• The option appears in some environments but not in others for the same navigation path.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to Manage Permission Roles

2. Select any permission role

3. Edit the role’s permissions

4. Under Manage Dashboards / Reports, observe that Manage Workforce Analytics is not available to enable.

Cause

The permission is only exposed after the Canvas report type upgrade completes successfully; the affected instance has not completed the upgrade or it did not complete successfully.

Resolution

Verify whether the canvas report type upgrade has been completed for the affected instance.
If the upgrade has not been performed, complete the canvas report type upgrade for the instance.
After a successful upgrade, go to Manage Permission Roles > Manage Dashboards / Reports and confirm that "Manage Workforce Analytics" is available.

Note: If SF instance provisioned after the 2405 Release, you won't have the option to enable Canvas Reporting. Your reporting capabilities will be limited to Table and Story reports.
