Symptom

  • The following error occurs in the "Response" field while testing connection to SFTP server via SSH in CPI:

    com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Session.connect: java.net.SocketException: SOCKS5 command failed with status: FORBIDDEN
    Cause: java.net.SocketException: SOCKS5 command failed with status: FORBIDDEN

  • The "Host" field uses an IP address.
