3790412 - Close Button in Admin Center Dialog not Declared as a Button and not Announced by Screen Reader

Symptom

  • The button to close the Admin Center modal dialog is not declared as a button.
  • Screen Readers neither lists it as a button nor reads out the button's associated text.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Launch the application.
  2. Access the "Admin Center" via the drop-down menu in the top-left corner.
  3. In the "Tools" section, select the "Show all" link.
  4. Start Screen Reader display available form fields.
  5. Observe the screen reader output; open the speech history and see nothing was announced.

Cause

This is a Known Issue

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.
