3790416 - How to prevent merging of allowance entries on the same day

Symptom

Within the timesheet UI you wish to prevent the merging of allowance entries on a single day

Under the standard setup, it is expected for multiple allowance entries to be merged into a single value.

As is also explained in the documentation, you can prevent this by adding a custom field

  1. Configure Object Definitions
  2. Go to object definition for "Allowance" and Take Action > Make Correction
  3. Add a new editable field with suitable parameters for your business for example String or Number
  4. Optionally you can set a default value here so that users do not have to manually enter a value
  5. Save your changes
