3790578 - Republish custom field missing in App Export Master Data – Business Partner

• In the new 'Export Master Data – Business Partner' Fiori app, a custom field that is available in the deprecated version cannot be exported.
• The custom field does not appear in 'Specific Field Selection'.
• There is concern that performing steps mentioned in SAP KBA 3775814 - 'Custom Fields missing in "Specific Field Selection" in Export Master Data app' will have negative effects on the system.

1. Open the Export Master Data – Business Partner successor app.
2. Start a new export and choose Specific Field Selection.
3. Search for the custom field (for example, a YY* field).
4. Observe that the custom field is not available for selection and therefore cannot be exported.

Legacy custom field publication was not retriggered in the target business context for the successor app.

As per steps provided in SAP KBA 3775814 - Custom Fields missing in "Specific Field Selection" in Export Master Data app, to republish a published custom field without performing any changes to the field, there would be no impact to your current system settings/data. The purpose to republish the custom field is to retrigger the custom field in the target business context, no effect will be generated to the existing data.

1. Launch the Custom Fields app.
2. Locate the custom field in the relevant Business Partner business context.
3. Click Publish again (no changes to the field are required).
4. Return to the Export Master Data – Business Partner app and verify the custom field appears in Specific Field Selection and can be exported.
