Symptom

Synchronize G/L Account Master Data app s not available in neither Development or Test systems, although the required business roles are assigned: SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT and SAP_BR_GL_ACCOUNTANT.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. With the required Business Roles assigned, search for the Synchronize G/L Account Master Data app
  2. See that the app is not available.

Cause

Business Catalogs SAP_CA_BC_GL_COA_CURR_SET_PC and SAP_FIN_BC_GL_COA_PC should also be maintained along with Business Roles SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT and SAP_BR_GL_ACCOUNTANT.

Resolution

Correctly assign the required Business Catalogs SAP_CA_BC_GL_COA_CURR_SET_PC and SAP_FIN_BC_GL_COA_PC.
