3790927 - Internal Candidate is automatically disqualified when reapplying after withdrawal - Recruiting Management

Internal Candidate is being disqualified when candidate reapplies.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Enable the new candidate experience in Recruiting settings.
2. Post a job requisition that includes prescreening questions as required to the external career site.
3. As an internal candidate, apply to the job and submit the application successfully.
4. Withdraw the application.
5. Reapply to the same job using the same data (no updates during reapplication).
6. Observe that the application is automatically moved to a disqualified status.
7. If the new candidate experience is disabled, reapplying keeps the candidate in the applied/new application step (no automatic disqualification).

A prescreening question configured as a disqualifier caused the system to evaluate the candidate’s stored answers on reapplication and disqualify the application when the answers did not meet the defined criteria.

The engineers are well aware of the issue. 

The issue will be fixed as part of 2H2026 Release
