PT SAF-T validation error due to empty unit of measure.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Statutory Reports app.
2. Run the report "Portugal SAF-T - Billing" (PT_SAFT_BILLING).
3. When submitting the generated file to the tax authority, a validation error occurs because the unit of measure is empty in some lines.

Unit of measure description is not maintained in Portuguese (PT) language.

1. Log on with a user profile whose language matches the target language (Portuguese - PT).
2. Open Configuration Activity (SSCUI 102179) "Check Units of Measurement".
3. Ensure the required unit of measure exists in this activity in the logon language.
4. Choose "Units of Measurement". If the dimension type in the dropdown does not match the target unit of measure, change it accordingly.
5. Maintain the Portuguese (PT) unit text for the required unit of measure.
6. Save the changes.
7. Optional: To review descriptions in different languages for the unit, change the language settings of the user profile.
8. Re-run the report.
