Symptom

When using the Consignment Issue for Sales Scheduling Agreement - Create (B2B) API, the creation of a consignment issue with multiple material line items is not accepted by the system.

Reproducing the Issue

Check the documentation for the API
See that the creation of documents only offers the creation of 1 material per consignment issue.

Cause

The API is working as per design from automotive perspective (1 material - 1 scheduling agreement); therefore, this is considered the standard design defined by SAP for the API.

Resolution

At the moment, the creation of a consignment issue with multiple materials is supported only at the front-end level; the API doesn't support its creation.

Since the development team tracks the customers ideas via the SAP Customer Influence portal, it is necessary to create a feature request for this business requirement.
