3791160 - Cannot select queue rule "constant: ediqueue" for xml http idoc port; cross-port serialization not possible

Symptom

  • Partner profile for an IDoc outbound XML HTTP port does not allow selecting the queue processing rule "CONSTANT: EDIQUEUE".
  • Mixed setup with some IDocs using tRFC/qRFC and others using XML HTTP cannot maintain a shared serialization queue.
  • Outbound IDocs are processed immediately instead of being placed in a qRFC queue.
