3791168 - Cover Page Text symbol is missing in sales order output when processed in background

Symptom

  • The text symbol is replaced correctly when creating the output manually/dialog/user processing.
  • Text symbols such as &VBKD-BSTKD& and &VBAK-VBELN& are not replaced in cover page text when the output is processed in the background (for example, via BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE and BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT). As a result, the placeholders are stripped out and appear blank in the printed output.
