Symptom

During a system upgrade, the process stops at the RFS4BPU_CONVERT_BUSINESS_USER phase with an ABAP short dump.

  • Runtime Error: MESSAGE_TYPE_X
  • Program: CL_ADDR_MAIN==================CP
  • Application Component: BC-SRV-ADR
  • Error Message: Internal error - NUMBER_GET_NEXT call error (AM885)

The short dump indicates the application intentionally triggered a termination because an unexpected situation was detected.
