3791261 - No Edit Option Available for Time Account Purchase in Administer Time

• There is no Edit option for a Time Account Purchase request after it has been saved.
• Users can create a time purchase request under Administer Time > Time Account Purchase, but cannot modify the request afterward.
• Users may also expect to cancel an existing approved purchase request.

1. Navigate to Administer Time.
2. Select Time Account Purchase.
3. Create and save a time purchase request.
4. Open the saved request.
5. Observe that there is no Edit option.

• This is working as designed.

• Once a Time Account Purchase request has been created, it cannot be edited or cancelled after it has been approved.
• This is a deliberate design decision because Time Account Purchase requests have a direct impact on payroll. Allowing changes or cancellations to purchase requests that have active or past deduction periods could result in inconsistencies between the payroll system and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Only pending purchase leave requests can be cancelled. However, editing is not supported, even while the request is pending.

Note:

• A deduction pay component is created for each purchase request. The deduction may be processed as a one-time deduction or as a recurring deduction over a defined period.
• Once the purchase request has been created, it cannot be edited or cancelled.
