3791312 - Pay Statement does not open or load when accessed through the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile application

Symptom

  • When accessing the Pay Statement through the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile application, the Pay Statement does not open or load on Android or iOS devices.
  • The issue is intermittent and may occur on either platform; in some instances, it is observed only on iOS devices, while in others, it is observed only on Android devices.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile application. 
  2. On the Home screen, tap the quick action labeled "View My Pay Statement", or navigate to Payroll > Pay Statement. 
  3. The amount of the most recent payroll is displayed. 
  4. Tap "View Pay Statement." 
  5. A blank screen is displayed. 
  6. A pop-up message appears on the blank screen asking the user to open the document using a third-party application.
  7. When attempting to open the pay statement with the third-party application, the document neither loads nor is displayed.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The issue is fixed in SuccessFactors App version 17.1.4 released on 20th August.
