3791330 - Handling Multiple Ticket Creation from Stateless Events Using a Custom Intermediary Application

Symptom

When using SAP Cloud ALM's Intelligent Event Processing (IEP) to create tickets in an external ticket system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management), multiple tickets are created for related event instances originating from use cases such as Integration Monitoring. This occurs because certain monitoring use cases produce stateless events, where each event instance triggers an independent "create ticket" action. Unlike stateful events (which maintain an event situation lifecycle with create, update, and close phases), stateless events do not group or correlate related occurrences automatically.
