3791352 - Workflow details or Manage Data screen shows incorrect and shifting field order when using MDF conditional fields

• The order of items on the workflow details screen does not match the object definition when the MDF object Conditional Field is configured (Condition Field ID / Condition Values).
• The order of items on the workflow details screen changes each time when new child record is added.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Create a parent-child type MDF.
2. Configure an MDF object with Conditional Field settings (Condition Field ID and Condition Values) in child MDF level.
   
3. Open a workflow that uses this MDF object and navigate to the workflow details screen.
4. Observe that the field order does not follow the object definition and that the order is different in each child MDF record.

It is an known longstanding product defect affecting field ordering in the workflow details screen when Conditional Fields are used.

It is not fixable at present.

1. Use the following workaround (no code fix is available at present):
2. Open Manage Configuration UI (Configurable UI) for the affected MDF object used in the default screen.
3. Edit the child group that contains the conditional/controlled fields.
4. Change the Layout setting from Form to Flow for that child group.
5. Save the UI configuration and retest the workflow details screen to confirm that fields retain the correct order.
