3791677 - Future-Dated Absences Are Canceled Even When the Associated Time Account Is Included in the Termination End Handling Exclusion List

• Termination End Handling exclusion is not functioning as expected.
• Event reasons and time accounts added to the exclusion still result in cancellation of future dated absences.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. User "ABC" has a future dated absence.
2. Terminate the employee ABC.
3. Select termination event reason and time accounts that has been added to the Termination End Handling exclusion and complete the termination.
4. After the Termination- termination End Handling job runs.
5. When checking on the administer time future date absences are canceled.

Expected behaviour

• Cancelling future absences through the Termination End Handling process is an expected system behavior. If an employee has future-dated absences, the Termination End Handling process will cancel the associated future absences, even if the corresponding time account is included in the Termination End Handling Exclusion List.

• However the time account is included in the exclusion list, the associated time account is not closed by the Termination End Handling process. Only the future absences are canceled, while the time account remains open as expected.
