3791797 - Termination Organizer age calculation around 1 July affects redundancy ETP categorization in Payroll Australia

Symptom

In termination organizer, employees who are not yet preservation age at the termination date is incorrectly treated:

  • For a termination on/after 1 July where the employee’s 60th birthday occurs later in that income year, the system generates Life Benefit ETP >age.
  • For a termination on/before 30 June where the employee is still below the preservation age, the system generates Life Benefit ETP.
