Symptom

Get error message "Problem occurred: sql processing error: "SAPHANADBVL"."CL_PPS4_MRP_R"" after MRP job in Schedule MRP Runs app.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Schedule MRP Runs app.
  2. Schedule an MRP job with proper parameters.
  3. The job fails with the error message.

Cause

No quota is maintained in the quota arrangement of the material, causing an arithmetic error in the quantity calculation during MRP.

Resolution

Maintain the quota for at least one supplier in Maintain Quota Arrangement app.
