3792070 - In ASKBN, error F5201 “Posting period is not open for variant and account category"

Symptom

  • Error message appears in RAPERB2000 ASKBN: F5201 “Posting period ... is not open for variant ... and account category ...”
  • Affected assets were posted with a value date in the closed period and were not included in that period’s run.
  • No error was received in the immediately following period, but failures may occur in subsequent periods, preventing periodic asset postings to the ledger.
