3792259 - Unable to Connect to OData Export Service in SAP Analytics Cloud When Exporting Data to BW

Symptom

When attempting to configure an Export Data connection from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to SAP BW using the "OData Services" connection type in Acquire Data, the connection fails with the following error:

  • "Unable to connect to datasource. Check the connection details and user credentials, and then try again."
  • The OData service RSBPC_ODATA_EXPORT_SRV is accessible via its metadata URL in a browser, and no authorization errors are observed in SU53. The failure occurs specifically during the creation of the export connection in SAC.
