3792260 - Scheduled Publication CSV Export Includes Hidden (Null-Suppressed) Cells and Does Not Honor Table-Level Point of View (PoV) Scope in SAP Analytics Cloud

Scheduled csv is different than the table-level export within the stories.

• When using the Scheduled Publication option to export a CSV, all the hidden (null-suppressed) cells are also included along with the data.
• However, when exporting directly at the table level using Point of View (PoV) as the scope, the export returns the expected and correct dataset without the hidden cells.
• The ask is to confirm whether this behavior with Scheduled Publication is expected, and whether there is currently a limitation at the Scheduled Publication layer that prevents exports from honoring the Point of View scope which also exports calculated fields from the story, similar to the table-level export functionality.

4. Observe: When using the Scheduled Publication option to export a CSV, all the hidden (null-suppressed) cells are also included along with the data and calculated fields are not exported.

• The current behavior is a limitation at the Scheduled Publication layer.
• Scheduled Publications run without a user context, so PoV cannot be applied.

This behavior is currently not supported. Scheduled Publication CSV exports do not currently provide an option to apply the same Table-Level Point of View (PoV) scope that is available when exporting directly from a table due to which calculated fields are not exported with current CSV exports.

To address this requirement, an Enhancement Request (ER) has been submitted to SAP requesting the ability to add a Point of View (PoV) selection option to Scheduled Publication CSV exports, allowing customers to generate exports that align with the results returned by table-level PoV exports.
