3792261 - Mandatory pricing condition missing in service order due to empty base condition

While processing a service order in the Manage Service Orders app, the following pricing error is displayed in the Error Log tab:

• Pricing error: Mandatory condition & is missing.

The mandatory condition (e.g., UTXD – US Tax per document) is a percentage-based condition whose value is calculated from a subtotal step in the pricing procedure (e.g., Net Value 2). This subtotal is built upon one or more base price conditions (e.g., PMP0 – Manual Price).

In the affected service order, the base price condition is not populated on one or more items. As a result:

• The subtotal that the mandatory condition depends on resolves to zero.
• The mandatory condition calculates to zero (percentage of zero = zero).
• Since the condition is flagged as Required in the pricing procedure configuration (Set Pricing Procedures, ID: 101118), the system treats a zero or undetermined value as missing and raises the pricing incomplete error.

1. Identify which base condition is missing
   1. Open the affected service order in the Manage Service Orders app.
   2. Navigate to an item and go to the Price Details tab.
   3. Click Analysis to run the pricing analysis.
   4. Locate the mandatory condition (e.g., UTXD) and trace its From/To step to identify the subtotal it is based on.
   5. Identify which upstream condition types (e.g., PMP0) are missing a value across the items.
2. Populate the missing base condition
   1. On each affected item of the service order, manually enter the required base price condition (e.g., PMP0– Manual Price) with the correct value.
   2. Ensure all items that contribute to the relevant subtotal have the base condition populated.
