3792390 - Unexpected Follow-Up Material Quantity Proposed on Final Partial Confirmation in CORK Due to Rounding Accumulation with Discontinued BOM Component

During the final partial confirmation of a process order in T-Code CORK, the system unexpectedly proposes an additional small quantity of a follow-up material, even though sufficient stock of the parent material is available and the required parent material quantity is consumed correctly. No stock is available for the follow-up material, so the resulting COGI entry cannot be cleared. The issue occurs specifically when a BOM component carries Discontinuation Indicator = 1 with an effective-out date, and the component quantity does not divide evenly across the total number of equal partial confirmations. The unexpected quantity is typically a sub-gram rounding difference (e.g., 0.003 KG) and is visible only on the last confirmation step. Uncleared COGI entries may impact production and risk a production stoppage.
