3792425 - Error "Value is not of the min. required length 1" for Payer's Name When Running T4A-NR Report - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

When running the Canada Withholding Tax T4A-NR report (CA_WHT_T4ANR), the error "Value is not of the min. required length 1" is returned for field "Payer's Name - Line 1." The Payer's Name field is blank in the XML output and is not visible in the data preview.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Run Statutory Reports app
  2. Select report CA_WHT_T4ANR
  3. Run the report
  4. Error "Value is not of the min. required length 1" is returned for label "Payer's Name - Line 1"

Cause

The Payer's Name field in the T4A-NR report is sourced from the company code address (ADRC-NAME1). When the Name field in the company code address configuration is empty, the Payer's Name in the XML output is blank, triggering the validation error.

Resolution

Fill in the company name under the following path:

SSCUI 105651 → &1 → Address → Name
