Symptom

  • Customers sending files from SAP Cloud Integration (SCI/CPI) to a SuccessFactors SFTP server may experience intermittent transfer failures.
  • Error message: org.apache.camel.component.file.GenericFileOperationFailedException: Cannot change directory to: outgoing, cause: java.io.IOException: Pipe closed. 
  • In SAP Cloud Integration, file transfers to the SuccessFactors SFTP Server intermittently fail.
  • Occurs while sending files sequentially via the sftp adapter.
