3792710 - Migration to System fact sheets after enabling SAP Cloud ALM Integration for SAP Discovery

• Customers enabled SAP Cloud ALM Integration for SAP Discovery before activating the "SAP System Information" capability in SAP LeanIX.

• As a result, existing SAP systems discovered via the SAP Discovery Inbox were linked to Application fact sheets.

• After activating the "SAP System Information" capability, many of these should be represented as System fact sheets instead of (or in addition to) Application fact sheets.

• Customers are unsure about:

  • The recommended approach to migrate existing Application fact sheets to System fact sheets while preserving the relationship to the discovery data.

  • Whether and how to link a manually created System fact sheet back to a corresponding Discovery Inbox item.

  • Which fact sheet type (System vs Application) is recommended for newly discovered items going forward
