• Outdated Home Page cards related to legacy performance cycles and goal plans continue to display.
• Notifications such as "You have this goal overdue by 224 days" are shown on the Home Page.
• Cards only hide after a goal record is edited (for example, status changed), even when “Do Not Generate Cards on Home Page” is enabled in the template.
• Customer wants to hide the outdated goal cards in the current status. Do not want to remove the cards through trigger completion.

1. In a legacy Goal Management template, enable “Do Not Generate Cards on Home Page” for a given status (for example, On-Track).
2. Proxy as a user and change a goal’s status to Start and then back to the original status.
3. Observe that the card visibility changes only after the goal update, not immediately after the template configuration change.

Existing Goal Management Home Page cards are not retroactively recalculated immediately after template configuration changes; they update after a goal record change or when the goal plan template is refreshed.

1. Go to Manage Templates > Goals
2. Select the Goal Plan Template
3. To Edit Fields, then click Status field
4. Do Not Generate Cards on Home Page, select the goal status you want not to generate goal cards on home page
5. Click Save and then Refresh
6. Job Type: Migrate Goal Data to the Latest Home Page Job will automatically run and will update existing goals for this template

• Update the older Goal Management template(s) to set “Do Not Generate Cards on Home Page” for the statuses you want to suppress.
• Refresh the goal plan template so the updated setting applies to existing goal cards and obsolete cards are suppressed without removing active cards.
• If an immediate per-record update is needed, temporarily change and then revert the goal status to initiate a recalculation of the associated Home Page card.
• Verify that cards from legacy templates are hidden while cards from current, active templates remain visible.
