3792924 - ABAP runtime error when confirming Process Orders or performing postings related to Event-Based Overhead Calculation - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When confirming Process Orders via app Confirm Process Order Phase (COR6n), an error message appears signaling the application has been terminated due to ABAP runtime error

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the COR6N app (Enter Time Ticket for Process Order).
2. Enter a process order and an operation (for example, 0060), then press Enter.
3. In the header toolbar, choose Actual Data to populate proposal values.
4. Choose Save.
5. In the Shelf Life/Expiry Date dialog, choose OK.
6. Observe that an ABAP dump occurs.

A defect in real-time event-based overhead calculation was triggered during order confirmation. The affected code path is controlled by a feature toggle FI_CO_OVERHEAD_RTOHC_NEW.

1. As a temporary workaround, disable the feature toggle FI_CO_OVERHEAD_RTOHC_NEW in the affected tenant.
   The fix for this issue is expected to be delivered in Hotfix Collection 2608/4, which is for test systems on 12-13.09.2026 and for production systems on 19-20.09.2026 (timeline is subject to change).
2. After the feature toggle is disabled, retest postings to verify the dump no longer occurs.
3. Be aware that disabling the toggle may cause a minor side effect in the output of the job template “Actual Event-Based Overhead Calculation: Reposting/Reversal - SAP_FIN_CO_RTOHC_RECONCILE.”
4. After the corrective update is delivered to the system, re-enable the feature toggle and verify the confirmation process again.
