3792930 - DB2 LUW: SET COMPACT fails on existing LOB column

Symptom

 Running the following DDL statement to enable the COMPACT attribute on an existing LOB column fails with error
  SQL0104N:

  ALTER TABLE <SCHEMA>.<TABLE> ALTER COLUMN <LOB_COLUMN> SET COMPACT

  Error received:

  DB21034E  The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
  valid Command Line Processor command.  During SQL processing it returned:
  SQL0104N  An unexpected token "COMPACT" was found following
  "R COLUMN <COLUMN_NAME> SET".
  Expected tokens may include: "<with_alter_default_clause>".
  SQLSTATE=42601

You are unable to change the LOB column COMPACT attribute from N to Y on a Db2 LUW database.
