3793187 - Custom HRIS Sync Mapping from emplStatus in Job Information is not working - Employee Central

A custom HRIS Sync Mapping between emplStatus (Job Information) and an EP field has been configured in Succession Data Model. However, when HRIS Sync runs, it does not synchronize the respective data.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Configure a custom HRIS Sync Mapping between emplStatus from Job Information and an EP field;
2. Run a Full HRIS Sync to populate the value in EP;
3. Observe the value is not populated.

Expected behavior.

Custom HRIS Sync Mapping from the standard employment status field (emplStatus) from Job Information is not supported.

The emplStatus field is hidden in the XML by default and only the Hard-Coded HRIS Sync Mapping to the EP field "status" is respected.
