3793528 - Post unplanned depreciation to a specific depreciation area

When posting unplanned depreciation using transaction ABAA, the amount entered on the initial screen is automatically assigned to Depreciation Area 01.

In the overview of posted depreciation areas:

• the amount in Depreciation Area 01 is greyed out and cannot be changed to zero;
• the amount in another depreciation area, for example a tax depreciation area, can be changed manually.

The requirement is to post the depreciation correction primarily to the specific depreciation area without materially affecting Depreciation Area 01.
