3793648 - Clarification needed on the storage location field 'StLoc' in transaction QA11 - QA12

Symptom

  • In transaction QA11 or QA12 it is not clear where the storage location values (field 'StLoc') are coming from on tab 'Inspection Lot Stock'.
    RQEVA-QLGO_VM01 - Storage Location for Quantity Posting to Unrestricted Stock
    RQEVA-QLGO_VM04 - Storage Location for Quantity Posting to Blocked Stock
    RQEVA-QLGO_VM06 - Storage Location for Quantity Posting to Different Material
    RQEVA-QLGO_VM08 - Storage Location for Quantity Posting to Other Stock
     

     
  • The stock for the lot was posted to a storage location already, and the transaction QA11 or QA12 displays a different storage location.
