3793705 - Error: Project is locked by <User Name> in another Application - SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Public Editoion

• In Plan Customer Projects app, it is not possible to save a change to a project.
• Error:  'Project is locked by <User Name> in another Application' appears. (where <User Name> represents First and Last Name of a user)

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Plan Customer Projects app.
2. Edit a project.
3. Try to Save change.
4. Error appears.

• The issue may occur after the Review Customer Project browser tab was closed, although a project was still open in Edit mode in this app.
• Because the Edit session was not terminated correctly, the project remains locked and prevents further edits from the other app.

Avoid this error, or unlock the project as follows:

1. Instead of closing the browser tab directly while editing the project details, exit Edit mode and return to the main page of the Review Customer Project app, where the project is listed.
2. From there, navigate to the next app.
3. If the project remains locked, the lock will be automatically released after approximately 3 hours.
