• The failure occurs while attempting to connect to the configured SFTP endpoint. 
• Messages fails in SAP Traceability Hub (TH) with the error: org.apache.camel.component.file.GenericFileOperationFailedException: Cannot connect to sap-sftp endpoint, cause: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

The connection request times out due to a connectivity or endpoint availability issue.

- Verify the availability and accessibility of the target SFTP endpoint.

- Ensure the SFTP server is running and responding to connection requests.

- Confirm that firewall, network, and security settings are not blocking the connection.

- After validating that the endpoint is accessible, retrigger the failed message if required.
