3794044 - Slow level-based hierarchy drill-down in the Datasphere Analytic Model

Expanding hierarchy nodes in the Analytic Model is slow, taking approximately 4–5 seconds for each drill-down.

SAP Datasphere

1. Open the Analytic Model, and navigate to the Preview mode.
2. Drag a hierarchy-enabled dimension onto Rows.
3. Switch from a flat presentation to a level-based hierarchy for that dimension.
4. Expand the hierarchy nodes.
5. Observe that each drill-down may take several seconds.

An unnecessary duplicate cube processing data reset in the underlying database layer causes additional processing during hierarchy drill-down.
