3794118 - Star rating symbols not visible in printed Performance Form Summary Section (PDF) - SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Symptom

  • Star rating icons are visible in the Summary/Overall Rating section of the performance form in the UI but do not appear when the form is printed to PDF.
  • In the printed version, the Overall Form Rating shows only the text description (for example, rating label) instead of star symbols.
  • No error message is displayed.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a Performance Management form in the Latest Form Experience.
  2. Navigate to the Summary section and observe that the Overall Rating is displayed with star icons in the UI.
  3. Use the Print to PDF option to generate the printed form.
  4. Review the PDF and observe that the Overall Form Rating appears only as text, without star symbols.

Cause

The printed version of the Performance Management form in the Latest Form Experience renders the Overall Form Rating in the Summary section as text only; star rating icons are not supported in the printed/PDF output.

Resolution

  1. Note that there is no configuration to enable star rating icons in the Summary/Overall Rating section of the printed (PDF) Performance Management form; this is expected system behavior.
  2. Use the text description of the rating in the printed output as the available design.
  3. If this functionality is important for your process, submit an enhancement request via the Customer Influence channel (refer to the links below).
  4. Follow the guidance in KBA 2090228 to create and track the enhancement request.
