Associate Peer-to-Peer Agreements in Amendments Using Bulk Actions (One-Way Linkage)
Associated documents are additional legal or supplementary materials added to an agreement. These documents can be:
- Created using a Template
- Uploaded into ICI
- Prepared from the Associated Document Contract Type model
Sometimes you may need to link an Amendment to another Peer Agreement. Normally, if you’re not an owner of the Amendment, the “Associate Peer Agreement” button may appear grayed out.
But don’t worry—using Bulk Actions, you can still associate amendments with peers quickly and easily.
Before submitting a support case to Icertis, make sure to check if the required attribute or task can be handled through the Data Management Tool or UI or Bulk Actions.
Why this simple check matters:
• Save time and get things done faster
• Minimize reliance on the Icertis Support Team
• Empower yourself to manage updates independently
• Avoid unnecessary delays and keep your workflow smooth
Let’s say we have an Amendment in Executed status, and the logged-in user is not a primary or secondary owner.
In this case, the option to manually add a Peer Agreement is disabled.
With Bulk Actions, we can still add peer associations.
Example: Associate ICMServiceAgreement_62 as a peer to ICMServiceAgreementAmendment_1 under the association “Related Service Agreement.”
