1. Scope

This article provides an overview of the full P2P process in Icertis Contract Intelligence for users with the Admin Configurator technical role.

2. Overview

Promote Configurations (P2P), also known as configuration migration, is a process in Icertis Contract Intelligence used to move configuration changes from a lower environment (such as DEV, QA, or UAT) to a target environment, typically Production.

This process enables the transfer of validated configuration changes from a source instance to a target instance in a controlled manner.

P2P can be used for:

• Lower-to-lower migrations (for example, DEV to UAT or QA to DEV or UAT to Dev etc)
• Lower-to-production migrations (for example, Dev to Prod or UAT to Prod etc)

 Using P2P helps maintain consistency across environments and reduces the need for manual configuration, which is time-consuming and error prone.
