3794276 - Automatic move of residual quantity to restricted bin after underpick (DIFS) not supported in RF Picking

• During RF picking, the user underpicks using exception code DIFS (over/under pick).
• After confirming a lower quantity, the remaining quantity stays in the original source bin and remains available for future picking.
• The user expects an automatic warehouse task to move the residual (short/missing) quantity to a restricted bin or storage type.
• No error message is displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Start RF picking for a delivery/task (production order picking scenario).

2. Goto RF Test app >Select 04- Outbound processes > Picking > Picking By WO > Enter an Open WO > Click F4 Next> Scan HU and give the quantity, and exception code DIFS.

3. System proposes a source bin with a certain quantity.
4. Physically find fewer units than proposed.
5. Confirm a lower quantity using exception code difs.
6. Observe that the remaining (short) quantity stays in the same source bin and remains pickable.
7. Expect an automatic warehouse task to move the residual quantity to a restricted bin, which does not occur.

By design: In Public Cloud Warehouse Management, automatic warehouse task creation to relocate the remaining quantity after partial picking via exception codes is not available.

1. Note that automatic warehouse task creation for residual quantity after underpick with exception codes is not supported in Public Cloud Warehouse Management.
2. Perform an Ad Hoc internal movement to manually move the remaining quantity from the source bin to a restricted bin or storage type after the underpick confirmation.
3. Submit a feature request so the requirement can be considered for future releases.
