3794363 - Service anniversary benefit claim not created for eligible users

Service anniversary benefit claim was not created for eligible user and Provisioning job completed with message "No Users selected during this time period"

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Configure a Service Anniversary benefit with Trigger Event set to Date of Hire.
2. Set the Entitlement Amount in the benefit to -1 (unlimited).
3. Ensure at least one employee reaches the service anniversary on the job run date.
4. Run the Benefits Service Anniversary Job in Provisioning.
5. Observe that no claim is created and the job output shows: "No Users selected during this time period".

The Service Anniversary process does not support an unlimited Entitlement Amount (value -1). The job auto-creates a claim and requires a Claim Amount, which is derived from the benefit’s Entitlement Amount. With unlimited entitlement, the claim amount cannot be derived, so no user is selected and no claim is created.

1. Edit the Service Anniversary benefit definition.
2. Replace the Entitlement Amount value -1 (unlimited) with a specific positive amount supported by your business rules.
3. Save and deploy the benefit configuration.
4. Run the Benefits Service Anniversary Job again on the relevant date so that eligible employees are in scope.
5. Verify that claims are created for eligible users.
