3794447 - Conditional fields not displaying after warning message appears in Payment Information - Latest People Profile

• A warning message appears after selecting Bank Country due to validation rule, and the conditional fields do not display.
• Error message: Operation failed because of errors.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. You configure a conditional field in Payment Information Detail object. When bankCountry.code equals to JPN, the field will display.
2. You configure a validation rule on bankCountry field to raise warning message.
3. In Latest People Profile (PPX), open an employee's Payment Information and start editing.
4. Click Add, set Bank Country = JPN.
5. Observe that a warning message appears (due to a validation rule) and the JPN-specific conditional field (Bank Name JPN) is not displayed.
   
   
6. In the Legacy People Profile (PP3) or via Manage Data, the field will display after the warning message.
   
7. If remove the validation rule that triggered warning message, the conditional field can display.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.

Remove the validation rule before code fix.
