Delete goal button shows in latest performance management though the RBP is not granted

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure a goal plan include delete permission in xml, but do not grant RBP to users
  2. Link the goal plan from goal management to a performance management form.
  3. Open the form using the latest performance management experience.
  4. Observe that the delete goal button is visible in the goal section.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.

Workaround

Remove the delete permission in goal plan xml if the user shouldn't have delete permission in form.
