3794828 - Recovery Execution Summary shows blank screen in HANA Studio

Symptom

  • When launching recovery from HANA Studio, Recovery Execution Summary shows blank screen, as below.

  • The process stops after the Recovery INQUIRE phase and does not progress further.
    The backup.log shows entries similar to: 
    RECOVERY INQUIRE started
    ...
    RECOVERY INQUIRE finished successfully

  • The same recovery completes successfully when performed via SQL.
