Symptom

The Welcome a New Teammate featured card is not appearing for managers.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Perform the enablement/action in Upgrade Center for the latest Home Page.
  2. Check the Home Page to verify whether the Welcome a New Teammate featured card is visible to managers.

Cause

The Welcome a New Teammate card appears only after the Onboarding task “Write Welcome Message” is completed for the new hire.

Resolution

  1. Ensure the manager has permissions for the Onboarding Welcome Message Task
  2. For the Welcome a New Teammate card to trigger, complete the Onboarding task “Write Welcome Message” for the new hire.
