3795009 - Competency button shows "add" instead of "edit" on job requisition after enabling talent intelligence hub

Symptom

  • After enabling Talent Intelligence Hub (TIH), the button in the Competencies section of the Job Requisition changed from "Edit" to "Add".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to an environment where TIH is enabled.
  2. Open an existing Job Requisition.
  3. Navigate to the Job Profile / Competencies section.
  4. Observe that the button displays as "Add".
  5. Compare with behavior before TIH enablement, where the button displayed as "Edit".

Cause

The change from "Edit" to "Add" is expected system behavior due to UI updates that support Talent Intelligence Hub (TIH) integration.

Resolution

  1. Recognize that the "Edit" to "Add" label change in the Competencies section is expected after enabling TIH; it reflects UI updates for TIH integration.
  2. Use the "Add" button to add competencies and skills sourced from TIH; functionality is aligned to work with TIH.
  3. Use the new "Format" option (shown alongside "Add") to format title and content style in the Skills and Competencies sections.
  4. Be aware that role-based filtering is not available when adding skills or competencies.
  5. If AI-Assisted Skills Architecture Creation is in progress, inferred skills may appear on requisitions created from a profile; these cannot be added or removed from the Add page, and their descriptions are not viewable there. They can only be removed from the Skills section on the Job Profile page.
  6. Note that competencies already added to a requisition can be removed but not edited on the requisition; the other available action is to add more competencies.
