3795056 - linked activities tab missing in latest performance form for managers but visible in goals and cpm SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

• Linked Activity section not visible to managers in the latest performance UI when accessing a direct report’s performance form from the inbox.
• Linked Activity section is visible when accessing the same goal in the Goal module.
• All activities of direct reports are visible in the Continuous Performance Management (CPM) section for managers.

1. Log in.
2. Proxy as a manager.
3. Open a performance form for a direct report.
4. Open a goal and its goal details side panel on the form.
5. Observe that the Linked Activity option is not available.
6. Navigate to Goals.
7. Select the same employee and goal plan, open the goal tile, and observe that the Linked Activity option is available.

• In a recent release, a defect hides the CPM Activity panel on performance forms when a user has the “View Activity” permission but the permission’s target population does not include the user themselves. Planned fix: 2H2026 (2611).
• By design, performance forms bypass CPM role restrictions to support review processes, while still enforcing PMU tab permissions and CPM permissions. CPM/Goal UIs continue to apply standard CPM role restrictions.

1. Ensure reviewers have required CPM permissions: under User Permissions > Continuous Performance Management, grant “View Achievement” and, for the latest form experience, “View Activity”.
2. Apply the interim workaround (until 2H2026/2611): include the user themselves in the target population of the “View Activity” permission so the Linked Activities panel is shown on the form.
3. Control visibility on forms by Performance Management tab permissions: use the Achievements tab permission in the goal section/route steps to allow or restrict access to the Linked Activities area for specified roles.
4. After the 2H2026 (2611) release, retest without the workaround and adjust permissions per your policy.
