3795305 - Version Management with GitHub: "Add to VM" succeeds, VMS version stays 0 and Menu actions disabled

• Github repository is configured for Version Management; "Add to VM" succeeds and objects are visible in the external Git server.
• In CMC Version Management, CMS Version increments but VMS Version remains 0.
• After right-clicking the VM-added object, most menu options are visible but not clickable (only “View Deleted Resources” and “Properties” work). 
• Not able to click "Check-In", "History" options as they are disabled.
• Error in logs when we do "Add to VM":
