3795334 - How to trigger workflow approval and notification upon termination of a user using business rule

• A business rule with Rule Scenario: Trigger Workflows and Base Object: Job Information Model to trigger workflow approval or notification for Termination use case does not work.
• Event though in the rule trace logs, it shows the workflow is triggered however actually there is no workflow approval or notification triggered. 

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Create a business rule to trigger workflow upon termination of any user
2. Assign the rule as onSave under the jobInfo element
3. Terminate an employee > Save
4. No workflow approval or notification is triggered

• It's a configuration issue.
• A business rule using Rule Scenario “Trigger Workflows” with Base Object “Job Information Model” does not initiate workflow approval/notification for termination, despite appearing in the rule trace.

Create a business rule with the same Rule Scenario: Trigger Workflows but using the Base Object: Employment Details Model and assign the rule as onSave under the employmentInfo element in BCUI.
