3795458 - After the CE2608 upgrade, Service Order and Service Quotation Output Items, show Form Country and Form Language not populating correctly

Since release 2608, within the Output of Service Orders and Service Quotations, Output will raise messages related to missing Form Country and Form Language details.

Create a Service Order

1. Open the Manage Service Orders app and click Create.

2. Fill in the required general details, such as:

   • Sold-To Party: Enter the designated Customer ID (e.g., <Sold-To ID Party>).

   • Add the line item SRV_03 and enter the required Quantity.

3. Save the Service Order.

View the Generated Service Order

1. Open the Manage Service Orders app.

2. Search for and select the Service Order created previously.

3. Navigate to the Output Items section within the Service Order to view generated outputs.

4. Note, the Form Country and Lanaguage fields are not filled.

The issue was caused as a result of the recent CE2608 upgrade.

A resolution for this issue is planned for delivery during the maintenance window of 22–23 August 2026. 

The deployment timeline stated above is indicative and subject to change. SAP reserves the right to revise the scheduled date without prior notice, including in response to operational, technical, or quality assurance requirements identified during the deployment preparation process.

In the meantime, the following workarounds can be used to avoid any further inconvenience:
Option A, Output Parameter Determination:
1. Open the Output Parameter Determination app.
2. Navigate to the Receiver configuration for the relevant output template.
3. Verify that the receiver role entries are maintained.
4. Edit the partner function values and update them to the German-language equivalents:
   - `CP` → `AP`
   - `SP` → `AG`
5. Save your changes.

Option B, Manual Update in the Service Document:
If updating the Output Parameter Determination configuration is not immediately feasible, the partner function fields can be corrected manually on the individual service documents as an interim measure.
